| 0:19 | forcing the residents to constantly rebuild their homes |
| 0:22 | in order to protect their families. |
| 0:26 | However, Guatemala City, a four-hour car ride away, |
| 0:29 | is in stark contrast to this with its |
| 0:31 | upmarket infrastructure and work opportunities, a gap we |
| 0:34 | really want to bridge. |

| 0:40 | Guatemala, we contacted TECHO, |
| 0:42 | an organization we worked |
| 0:44 | with two years ago by rebuilding 10 houses |
| 0:46 | in an impoverished community in Costa Rica to |
| 0:49 | see how we could help save this remote |
| 0:50 | town from being destroyed. |
| 0:52 | And one week later, Darren arrived just outside |

| 0:59 | he soon experienced firsthand just how difficult it |
